SPRINGFIELD. Live music and a terrific patio area help this laid back restaurant-bar stay atop a lot of lists. In fact, 9th and Main has the distinction of being the "Official Hangout of New Springfield," one of Jacksonville's most up-and-coming neighborhoods.

ARLINGTON. Arielle's doubles as a fine dining experience and a popular networking place for young professionals. The wide open plan of the main dining room allows tables to be positioned so that you can see the stage (and easily access the hardwood dance floor from wherever you sit), allowing your party to fully enjoy the night's entertainment, whether it's stand-up comedy, poetry, live jazz or a DJ mixing hot dance numbers. JAX BEACH. This two-level establishment, built in memoriam to legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd frontman Ronnie VanZant, carries on his love for good music. Both regional and national musicians take the stage, encouraging late-nighters and great times, so plan on staying and dancing the night away. One of Northeast Florida's top listening rooms, Jack Rabbits makes darn sure that San Marco rocks each week by bringing in awesome live acts that have cut their teeth on the regional band circuits.
